Although we two went during a week when the kids were off from school, and it was wall to wall pandemonium, we still had fun. If you're fussy about your food, bring your own snacks because the snack bar is kid-oriented. Loads of different activities on every floor. My all time favorite is the giant blue crayon. The gift shop... More

Go as soon as it opens because it fills up fast. We went on a Friday and the place was packed by 11. They were way under staffed which was mayhem. The most popular experiences had one perso. Working which caused long unorganized lines. The large play area was full of accidents due to poor supervision from parents and staff.... More

It was packed over the April school break, however, my daughter loved it, even as a picky tween. We were there for over 3 hours and would have stayed longer if it wasn't so incredibly packed. A side note: teachers get in for free and during this week, teachers' families were admitted half price. It was a nice touch that... More

We came to visit during our trip to the Poconos. It's very crowded for a Thursday morning. There are a couple of school groups here, and everything requires standing in line or paying extra. I think my kids are a bit old for this at 9 and 11. Luckily they had a special offer for nurses, so it didn't cost... More

We drove two hours to check out the Crayola Experience and we sure did! It was a weekday and still crowded which is to be expected but trying to wait on line with a 2 year old is cruel and unusual punishment! Our 4 year old was great so first tip is wait until the kids are 4 and older.... More

First of all, the town itself is very pleasant. Crayola facility is very well thought-through to handle crowd overflow. We visited in off-peak hours, so the crowding was tolerable. For kids, there are plenty hands-on activities. Basic as they may be, they are quite entertaining, and tell the story of crayolas creation. Adults will discover a lot of lesser-known facts... More

Overall I liked the Crayola Experience. You can customize your own crayon wrapper, lots of art projects kids can work on and they have two different climbers that older kids and younger kids can use. I am not sure if I would go back, we did most everything but my kids really liked it. Only negative: staff is very unhelpful,... More

Full disclosure... we visited on the Thursday before Easter. But thinking it was mid-week the crowds would not be at their maximum. Ha! We had purchased tickets online se we were able to bypass the ridiculously long line at the entrance. Had we been smart we would have high-tailed it out of there right then. 5That was after waiting on... More

Great day trip for kids and adults! There is so much hands-on fun here and lots of things your child can create and take home with them. We had read some reviews before going that said to plan on a 2-4 hour visit. Two hours in, we had only covered one floor! There was plenty of staff on board and,... More
