Hiking canoeing fine dining all there it is still as magical a place as it was in the 1970s. Just hanging out by the river having an ice cream was fun.

A lovely place to hike, with a few campgrounds, small theme parks, and canoeing. Touristy during tourist season, of course 😀.

Trees that are over a century old along well marked trails. It was a stunning hike, one that we were both thankful we did.

Cook Forest is a perfect place to relax. I enjoy it year round! Hiking and canoeing in the summer. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter! Get out in nature and clear your head!

We stayed at the Gateway Lodge and went hiking in the Cook Forest State Park. It was still a bit chilly from being near the end of winter but still a great place to hike with nice trails full of old trees and streams.

My husband and I went for our honeymoon. It was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed to get away for awhile, and unplug from technology.

Cook Riverside Cabins! Right in the heart of the park and they own the tube and canoe livery.
