OK, first the good. Blue Knob has a terrific vertical descent. Some of the runs are nice and long—nearly a mile. There are really no crowds to speak of—and I write this having visited over President’s Day weekend. We practically walked on to every lift....More

SKIERS BEWARE! After 35 years of skiing Blue Knob, numerous Eastern resorts, and numerous Western resorts, I’m fed up. Over the years we have anxiously awaited improvements without success. The previous reviews are accurate in that it is good skiing after tons of natural snow...More

We had booked a condo owned by Kim and David O'Kane at Blue Knob Resort through VRBO for week in August. Unfortunately, a death in the family forced us to cancel our reservation. Without ANY hassle whatsoever the O'Kanes immediately refunded our deposit. I want...More

Blue Knob, while small in comparison to the surrounding mega ski resorts delivers some of the best terrain south of New York. The highest skiable terrain in PA. It has the longest beginner slope south of New England. 2 miles long with ample opportunity to...More

We enjoy visiting Blue Knob. Has a nice long run and a fair amount of trails for a Pennsylvania resort. Wish they'd be a little more ambitious with their park though and get better jumps etc..

We all met here for a girls' evening. The rooms are not very nice at all. The ceiling fan light only had one working light bulb. There were two bathrooms which made it nice, but every time you flushed the commode you would have to...More

I find it very hard to rate to place. On the one hand the snow was just bad - temperatures had been too high for too long, which means that ski conditions just got worse and worse during our stay. While we had full day...More

I'm going to start with the Skiing because it was better than our stay in the Lodge. The slopes were fun and there was new snow, until the warm weather moved in. It wasn't crowded and that was nice. However, the lifts were terrible. They...More

This resort is very dated. Could have so much potential. Nice vertical. Good mix of terrain. Sits on top the mountain with lots of space... Lodge just needs torn down and rebuilt with a new one... No flow to purchase tickets... No signs directing where...More

While Blue Knob may not be best for first timers, but it is still okay for those who aren't experts. It receives less people than Seven Springs or Hidden Valley, so the hills, while icy, aren't dangerously slick. There is a mix of trails: wide...More

The slopes here present a good variety for the various classes of skiers. And, it's not all that far from the major metropolitan centers. PA? Who knew?
