Kentuck Knob was one of the last houses designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was recommended to us by friends who were acquainted with the accomplishments of the current owner. We were the first ones in the gate and for our tour there was one other couple. As a small group, we were not rushed through the house and our... More

Kentuck Knob doesn't get near the attention that Falling Water does, but it really is spectacular. It's a home the "average" person could see themselves living in - and it's gorgeous! Grounds and view are magnificent. Well worth the visit.

KENTUCK KNOB is not the over-the-top phenomenon that FALLINGWATER is, but it is a "BEAUTY" in its own way! When walking toward it, the outside draws your eyes to so many areas all at the same time, especially when one is waiting for a guide to join you. We had a warm and friendly lady who was our guide, and... More

Great docent and a wonderfully restored and kept Frank Lloyd Wright home in the usonian style. The original home owners pride in the home was made clear and the current home owner's maintenance of the house is admirable. However, the art collection is eclectic and a little distracting from the FLW vibe but nevertheless very interesting. Also, a real bonus... More

We enjoyed visiting Kentuck Knob. We thought the price was a bit high, but it was worth seeing once. It was interesting hearing some of the history of the family and Frank Lloyd Wright and some of the interactions they had. You park, get your tickets, and a shuttle takes you up to the actual house. You have the option... More

The brochure at a B&B was what got us to stop in for a tour, and we were pleased with the experience. Our tour guide was easy to hear, clearly knowledgeable, and guided us at a comfortable pace. We lingered on the grounds a bit and enjoyed seeing the sculptures along the path back to the visitor center. We recommend... More

I had booked my tour a couple of days in advance for the first tour of the day and found out that I was the only visitor at that time. How great not to be in a large group and to be able to ask as many questions as I wanted. My guide was very familiar all the Wright homes... More

A great tour, very interesting and the surroundings are beautiful. The tour group was small and the guide was very good.

I am a FLW fan and was initially very excited to visit this house. But, $25 for a 30 minute tour was not worth the $$. They claim it's 40 minutes, but 10 of that is transportation up and down the hill. Tomorrow I'll visit Fallingwater, knowing this, the guide still name dropped as if all of us had already... More

We went to Fallingwater for a long weekend, but also went knowing there were other Wright houses in the area. Kentuck Knob was the second best, after Fallingwater. The house itself is breathtaking. What makes it even better is the extended outdoor sculpture garden that guests can wander through. If you're at Fallingwater, it's definitely worth a trip to Kentuck... More
