If you are interested in the Army or Military History, this is the place for you. There are lots of great visual exhibits inside and outside on the trail. It is especially interesting for children. Highly recommend!

1.5 hours would be enough to see everything if you were tight on time; about 30 minutes inside and 60 outside. You could easily spend more if you want to take your time. Everything is free.

The outside trail is very spaced out, so there is a good amount of walking involved. The items are display are amazing. So much to learn! Was surprised to find out that admission to the museum/ education center was FREE! You get a dog tag to scan at several displays, your dog tags give you information on a soldier throughout the center. Loved this place.

A large and functional set of meeting rooms. The bathrooms were large and very clean. It was nice that the center is connected to a gift shop and museum.

I regularly visit. One of the draws is the periodic used book sale. You can find military-oriented books during these sales, and these sales draw a huge crowd.

Aside from the museum, there i are huge grounds that display battlements from the Revolutionary War to today. This is an open park and many people walk through. (If it is a hot day, be sure to be prepared for the heat.)

They have great events here sometimes with reenactors from different eras, doing demonstrations. Kids (2, and 8) had a great time. Lots of places to explore and walk around.

Don't be fooled by the name, this place is an Army history museum, and it rocks! Yes, it has an incredible archival library and a critical task of recording and archiving Amry history. But the trail, the museum, the staff are all top notch. Highly recommend you go!

The site is just so cool, with many examples of actual tanks and a helicopter, not to mention a German Pill Box recreation! There are wonderful exhibits both inside the building and outside.

Very interesting. There is an interactive area inside. The outside Heritage trail was extensive. I would definitely do this if I was passing by the area.

My husband, a Vietnam (Army) Vet and I came here to visit on a Sunday afternoon. We really enjoyed the indoor museum and multiple displays outdoors. If you are an Army veteran, this is truly an enjoyable experience.
