Beautiful Lake

Right on the Appalachian Trail. Walking along the lake is very easy. You can feed the ducks and swans.

Makes a lovely place for a walk or a few quiet moments to watch the ducks. Weather you want to feed the ducks, walk the lakes shore, or view the stream which feeds the lake, you will have several views to enjoy. There is history to be shared in this tiny treasure trove. Be sure to stop here...your photo ops... More

This lake is a beautiful place and very serene. It has a large population of geese and ducks. It is also known for good trout fishing. And for hikers it is conveniently located off the Appalachian Trail.

Quaint town and area. The stock the pond with fish for fishing. They have a boat ramp for small fishing boats. Plenty of ducks and geese too. Nice walking bath that goes the length of the pond. Dog friendly. My only complaint is the construction that always seems to be going on in some area. Right now they have the... More

Great place to take the kids for a nice walk around the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. Must take in the bubble at the head of the lake behind the Boiling Springs Tavern.

We have never seen as many ducks and swans as there was at this lake. According to the locals the area was having a sinkhole problem and the lake was being refilled as we walked by it. It was suppose to be a short term problem. The lake we saw was about 2 feet deep. It was still beautiful as... More

In this small little town, the Children's lake is a must place to spend a quiet evening. You can stroll around the lake, sit and feed the waterfowl. Also take time to explore the creeks nearby. In the spring, it's a wonderful place to see all the new baby waterfowl. Also a great location for family pictures to be taken.

I take my mother here just about every Sunday. It's a wonderful place to walk, sit, relax and just gaze. It's a part of the Appalachian trail as well.

The water to this lake is crystal clear. You can fish, boat, or simply walk around the lake which is what we did. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the ducks and geese. Front street which is right by the lake is so nice to stroll down too. Want to know the history of this place? Stop at the Victorian... More

Beautiful setting in the small village of Boiling Springs. Usually uncrowded for an easy stroll, feeding the ducks, or just to sit and enjoy the view. Nice place for little ones.
