I was there just before high tide and it was incredible to watch. Along with the Devil's Churn is also Thor's Well and a water spout. Not sure it would be very impressive at low tide but once the water started coming it it showed...More

We made a quick stop in to see this, I don't think we had the tide timing right, as it was just ok. There were plenty of other people also enjoying the view.

We stopped here just cause it was easy access off of 101. Wow we were surprised at the great easy trails there. We saw the awesome power of the Devils churn then trekked down the trail to the tide pools and to the visitor center....More

Between the Devil's Churn, Thor's Well and the Spouting Horn you could get lost for hours. Best to go when the tide is coming in and the rougher the waves the better the view.

We were not there very long but we left happy. There are trails that lead down to the bottom and it's an easy walk although it's not flat so folks that have a difficult time walking might consider not going down. The view from the...More

Loved this rocky amazing place! Getting down to the ocean level was easier than it initially appeared even with questionable knees. Rocks and tide pools were carefully traversed so an up close and personal view of the churning waves was possible. The children we had...More

We just visited Cape Perpetua and Devil's Churn last week. Start at the visitor's center and take the short hike down to Devil's Churn to view waves crashing against the lava rock. Well worth the short trek down the steep grade. The hike up to...More

See previous review of Cape Perpetua. This is a wonderful exhibit of nature. The elements at their best. Worth the steep grade to view.

We love to visit the Devil's Churn, especially when the tide is coming in. I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Oregon Coast.

There is a parking fee for the lots on site- but if you buy the parking pass from the ranger station, it is good for all park stops along the way.

Google Yachats tide conditions 2015. It's also worth noting that other weather conditions such as swell, storm etc will have an effect on your experience so watch the weather forecast for the area.
