We followed a short loop road to the lighthouse, Oregon's oldest. The view from the bluff provides a nice view of the Umpqua River and dunes.

Its worth a stop. You get a great view of the ocean and the dunes The real jewel is the lake just down the street. That is worth spending several hours enjoying.

We had hoped the fog would clear up but it didn’t. In any case, we didn’t have great views but the setting of the lighthouse was still very nice. We did enjoy just walking around the area.

Had a great time at the lighthouse. Self guided tour of the museum, guided tour of the lighthouse. Great stop with beautiful views. So glad we came.
