totally worth the short stop to learn about the bridge and the local area.. exhibits well done-- the view of the bay from the parking area is interesting.. lots of local fisherman and many seabirds reading on the under side of the bridge

Clamming, crabbing on the coast ...here's a place to get you started. I never had realized this is ground zero for clamming in Asea Bay.

Nice interesting information center, friendly staff, good parking, even for a small RV. Not a whole lot to see, but what is presented is very well done, interesting, worth the visit.

You will find all the information you need for a great visit to the central Oregon coast. The displays are interesting and the beautiful Alsea Bay is a great place to wet your feet at low tide.
