Shepperd's Dell is probably a bit less well known than Multnomah Falls, but is a very beautiful waterfall. You can pull off the highway to hike up to and take photos at the falls. Parking however is very limited. The walk to the falls is very doable. You can get very close to the falls and it provides a great backdrop for photos.

Shepard Falls, a place of picturesque perfection. Serene stream swiftly slides, showcasing stunning scenery. Shimmering sunlight surrounds, sparkling splendor saturates. Spectacular spectacle, serene serenity. Sightseers savor sheer splendor, spellbound, speechless. Sounds of streaming water soothe, symphony of serenity. Scenic sanctuary, splendid sensation. Shepard Falls, simply sensational!

We stopped here after the Bridal Veil Falls loop because it was way less crowded. It was one of the better stops we made along the route. Very lush area with the wonderful sound of rushing water. It was quite relaxing to just sit and rest for a bit when we got to the water falls area. Take a moment to look at the bridge too, it's a beautiful piece of architecture.

The walking trail to this waterfall is closed, but it is a pretty site and is worth a quick stop. You can get a decent picture toward the east side of the bridge,

This was our second waterfall stop while driving down Highway 30. The trail is still closed, but you can still view from the bridge only a few steps from the parking lot. Even though trail is closed, it’s worth the time.

Nice small waterfall stop along the Columbia Gorge route for our tour. Hidden gem on the way to more.

The walk to the falls was the highlight of visiting Shepperd's Dell. The short and easy path is carved from the cliff with an old, moss-covered stonewall running along side it. We enjoyed seeing the falls and historic bridge through the foliage all along the way.

We really liked the area. It was one of the less crowded spots. The falls are pretty , but you only really see them from a distance. The stone walkway and wall are really pretty though, and reminded me of a fantasy movie. Nice quick stop and pretty quiet.

These falls are another set you must see. It is an easy walk to them. What makes it great is the lack of crowds. Worth a stop.

A quick walk down the paved walkway and you're at the end of this beautiful waterfall. Doesn't take long
