Traveling this old highway helps you get closer to mother natures beauty. There are many waterfalls to admire and hikes to trek. It is a bit windy, and there are some potholes to be careful of. But the scenery is amazing.

There are so many beautiful views of the gorge, great waterfalls to explore and hikes to take. There is never enough time to do it all.

Buying food in Portland before you get into the Gorge would be a good idea as there are not that many places on the scenic highway. I would not recommend the Tippy canoe, but check it out for yourself, overpriced and not... More
