We enjoyed seeing the lodge and taking the lift up the mountain to see the view. The information desk was helpful as we were looking for a nearby place for a hike afterward.

We visited Timberline because of the snow attraction. We decided on a quick lunch in their Yeast fast food cafe. We were the only people there. The menu was very limited, I settled for a burger and chips. It took a while to come and was with raw onions and sliced tomato. I have dined in places from South Africa,... More

I was only visiting the lodge; not skiing, or lodging. I went to see the structure and the grounds. It was more of a tourist attraction for me to explore. What an incredible Lodge! Much of the structure is preserved. It has a mixed history of death and renewal with ownership and development. They say the movie The Shining was... More

There are a several skiing options in Oregon, and this is the only ski lodge located in Oregon. This is one of the smaller of ski resorts, but one of the most magical. The lodge is amazing, google the history on it, and learn that lodge is still being used as its original intention, plus a lot more! We come... More

We love Timberline Lodge. I have gone there since I was a kid 40 years ago and the first floor of the main lodge was used by the ski area as day use. Crowded! I have stayed there periodically since, and it has retained it's charm. Where else can you ski, have a hot tub in a snowstorm, drink an... More

Beautiful architecture, a cozy retreat in a windswept landscape, and great for ski-in ski-out. Stayed here for our anniversary, and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, and fun drinks in the bar. The rooms definitely show their age, even after renovation. Especially annoying was the squeaky floor from the room above, that kept us up whenever someone was walking... More

Had a great time at Timberline with fiancée and 3 kids and will definitely go back again. The entire staff that works at Timberline is great and always helped us like we were the only ones with questions. Only thing that would have made the trip perfect was if the pool was working, it was out of order due to... More

I used to visit this lodge as a child and thought of it as a magical place. That was a long time ago, but as we were unexpectedly in this area I wanted my husband to see it. The Lodge did not disappoint. It was still as beautiful as I remembered. The craftsmanship that went into every aspect of this... More

I have visited the Timberline Lodge twice but haven't had a chance to stay there. The building itself it really beautiful, full of history and the connection to The Shining makes it even more interesting. It also offers amazing views.
