The restaurant look nice, but did not patronize. Did walk to south falls. It was an easy walk. So nice the pathways are path so when wet even those in wheelchairs can access.

Easy walking trails give you an opportunity to see some of Oregon''s finest waterfalls. Hikes range from easy to difficult (due to length of trail).

It's hard to give an exact answer. I'd probably give it a couple more weeks as most the trees near me are still pretty green (& we're not far away from Silver Falls)

Go to ReserveAmerica to get camping reservations there. There is also a biking/hiking campsite near Lyons, to the south about 2 hours bike ride depending on your route.
