The public library has many of the amenities we expect in a library. A good local history section. They lack good microfilm services, and the reader is in serious need of servicing, and have no/few archives. Some online content for photos. Open regular hours during the week, some very odd hours on the weekend. Parking is metered which is very... More

There is a parking garage next to the building that has meters. Great stuff for kids like backpacks that are kits to explore things like feelings. Saw one on anger, sadness and stuff like that. Books and activities that explore that concept are in the backpack so you just pick up a backpack and instant lessen for a little one.... More

Take my grandchildren here on a regular basis. The staff is very helpful and attentive to check in and out materials. Cheerfully provide print outs of what items they show as currently checked out and when they are due for return. The grandkids usually have many books and dvds check out on their accounts.

They have an especially inviting children's program. The staff is professional and well informed. Paying for parking is a bit of a pain. Their selection of... More

We were enchanted by the Teen Scene and the numbers of teens involved. Very well run program! Worth a visit - very friendly staff and projects going on. And we had lunch at the cafe and it was delicious!

I went there as a tourist on Monday and Monday is their day off. They close on Monday. I couldn't give you more than what I know. This library ought to be the one of the safest libraries in the nation because it is built right next to the police dept and the city hall. They share the same parking... More
