The hot springs have been invaded by filthy people are are a disappointment. In the past, it was a great place to visit. I live within 50 miles & I used to frequent it regularly, but no more.

I've been to a LOT of hot springs and Umpqua Hot Springs is a mess! The pools were murky, sludgy petri dishes; completely crowded even on a Friday afternoon in fall. Garbage everywhere. Poop. Dogs in the pools...I went in (naked) and immediately regretted it.

The road to these hot springs is a challenge : deep holes, overhanging trees, narrow, gravel. It was a challenge to drive it with a 30feet long RV but we managed. We paid a 5$ parking fee and took a short hike through a nice...More

$5/car parking fee with 10 minutes of easy hiking brings you to wonderful cascading small hot spring pools with lots of bathers (some nude). Anyone with mobility issues or children should be aware lots of climbing is required to get into and out of the...More

If you live anywhere in the Valley, this isn’t far. The drive is easy and finding this place is much easier than I thought. We went in September and the weather was great. You WILL likely see nude people but everyone was respectful. The top...More

They had a winter snow storm the night before we came here. So when got here, we had to park before the gates and had to walk about 2 miles to get to the trailhead. One we got there, we had the place all to...More

Visited 12/14/17, arrived afternoon, approximately 1:00pm, Light snow. Drive in was beautiful; final 2 miles of road was rough however, not terrible. Park car, cross over bridge, climb steep hill side, some railings provided. 1/4 mile+ to small pools. During my 2 hour visit approximately...More

Sweet little hike to get to the falls. Parking is very limited and the hot springs get a lot of visitors. We did not feel comfortable going in with our kids (3&5) with the crowd on site when we went.

You can camp near the hot springs but it's pretty rustic and I think it's dry camping. Whistler's Bend is not too far from the waterfalls and is really nice for camping. It's in Glide, OR

First come first serve. I'd advise early or late. There's a campground about 3 miles away on the reservoir that you can either drive from or hike along the river to the springs.
