We had no problems parking our car.We went immediately to the dunes. It was amazing. The dunes were surrounded by trees. The most fun is to walk up a dune hill. This beautiful place is perfect for exercise. A must see!

Put on those earmuffs, an extra scarf, some gloves and climb the dunes, shout back love songs to the pounding Pacific waves, watch birds soar, admire the water carved pebbles and driftwood. Embrace the wild.

We stopped at one of the atv riding areas early in the day so we were the only people there. Really neat to see the expansive dunes with the trees growing out of the sand in the distance. I'd highly recommend going early in the...More

We didn't have enough time to rent a buggy to drive on the dunes but we stopped long enough to take pictures and to take in the vast view of the 'sea of sand'.

This region is a 10 plus. Take your car and slowly go along the Pacific coast highway thru Oregon. Our favorite trip in the USA.

When you are in the neighbourhood, you should stop and have a look. These dunes are ruled by ATV-users so don't expect peace and quiet.

Interesting natural enviroment of huge sand dunes. Of you are in yo ATV's probably a great place. Of all the beautiful parks on the oregon coast this is the one that is least dramatic. The rocky coast lines are much more dramatic. I would not...More

First day on beach during our H101 trip that there was no blasting wind on the beach and very little fog. We spent hours on the beach, almost entirely by ourselves. We did not find the alternative path back to the parking lot -- apparently...More
