Got a few good pictures of some bull elk. There was a large group of females and little ones. Plenty of parking with pit potties.

I saw more elk jere in one location then I have in my entire life. They get pretty close to the road and there are little birds that sit on their behinds. It's so cute!

Stopped by on the way to the I-5. Glad we did! Saw over 100 elk in the distance laying in the field . Wow what an amazing experience especially coming from southern California where there are no wild animals !

This place is not far off the highway. It is free. We stopped to see the elk, but it didn't work out for us. There was one spot as we drove around a bend where several cars were parked, but there was no easy parking...More

I travel by here often on my way to the coast to go sailing and it's more often than not that you will see elk grazing nearby. It's really cool if you haven't seen very large elk in the wild they are well protected and...More
