Though this would be better in summer when the pool and splash pad are open, we still enjoyed petting dogs and playing at the playground. The tribute to Beverly Cleary's books includes three statues, a list of Henry Huggins books, and a splash pad.

I had only heard of this park because of the Beverly Cleary statues (there are 3: Ramona, Henry, and Ribsy) in the middle of the splash pad, and seeing them was why *I* wanted to go there. This park is definitely out of the way on the east side of the city, and we were really only able to stop... More

We visited Grant Park to see the Beverly Cleary statues. There are three - Henry Huggins, Ramona Quimby, and Ribsy, Henry's dog.
