We first saw this bridge from a distance. We had an opportunity to cross it during our stay. Nice looking architecture.

As you cross the St. Johns Bridge headed east if it is a clear day you can see Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. This gothic bridge is so structurally beautiful you don't want to hurry to get across the Willamette River that flows below.

The bridge itself is beautiful with great views up and down the river. I rode my bicycle to and over the bridge to the St. Johns area. The area on the west side is very industrial and full of railroad tracks so be very careful...More

Coming across this bridge, one has a sense of artistic value, So many other bridges, in the surrounding area, that don't have even a sliver of elegance. Pay close attention to this as you travel across!

So, project done by the same person whom did the Golden Gate and he is rumored to actually like this one better. Gorgeous bridge.

It's a bridge, not much more to say. On one side you enter into the St. John's neigbhorhood and the other end (abrupt stop at the end of bridge on a hill) you enter into an industrial area.

A beautiful local bridge to see. There is not much to do by it., but if your a Grimm fan it is fun to drive over and get a picture.

It was very congested, while we were there, so our photo opportunities were very limited. Just driving through was the only experience we received. I love bridges, but this one is not one of my favorite top 20.

The St. Johns bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges. You can walk across it for views of the river and it makes great photos. You can go under it to for amazing photos.

Such a beautiful bridge to drive, walk over and play under. Visited with a friend when visiting mostly for the photo opportunity below the bridge. Easy parking and access. If you're passing by it's worth the stop.
