The garden's setting provides a setting for contemplation. We especially enjoyed wandering around the spiral-shaped walkway and inclusion of local newsy bits to its lists of local vets lost or died in the war.

The memorial is a walking one , it's not all just in one spot. Each monument and stone has a story to tell and it really gives you an idea of how many lives were lost during Vietnam just from people who lived in Oregon...More

Moving somber memorial that is well thought out with a circular pathway leading to the memorial. An easy way from any of the zoo parking lots.

This is a wonderful tribute to the brave Americans that served and died in Vietnam who were from Oregon. It's a beautiful setting and the memorial is informative and very well done.

What a beautiful memorial. Well laid out. A moving tribute to our local veterans. The scenic walk and reflection was enjoyable and memorable, and the local news items posted for each year had us pause longer, reading the names and reflecting on the loss. We...More

Yes . You would take the Max line and get off at Washington Park , it's extremely close to the downtown area so it would take you no time at all to get there
