Great oasis in the middle of the city, surrounded by a wall. Lots of nooks and crannies for contemplating your navel. Beautiful ponds with flowers and fish. The falling rain was very restful. Wish we had more time to just sit and ponder.

Quiet beauty - a haven in a busy city. Different areas with different feels. A lot to learn. Look at the paving stones - different textures; look at the roof tiles. Incredible attention to detail.

This is a very beautiful walled garden, but tiny...and you can see a lot of it by looking in the big windows. You might not want to spend too much money going into it. It is not in a very nice area of town. If...More

This is a quaint escape for an hour or two. Really enjoyed the koi fish. You have to stop into the tea shop while you are there - an amazing experience. Excellent tea choices and the food was superb!

This is a wonderful city block sized garden, an oasis in the din of the city. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and cordial. I prefer this garden to the Japanese garden!

Really gorgeous! All the staff go out of their way to help. A very peaceful and well thought out garden. Especially worth it if you appreciate garden design

Great garden with a very nice volunteer tour. There is a one hundred character minimum, so I have written this sentence.

For a modest admission fee, you can tour the garden or go on an included tour of the grounds, We enjoyed about 2 hours at the garden and felt that we had enough time. This is a must do!
