We visited the zoo on a cloudy, cool Monday so it wasn't crowded at all. Unfortunately, some of the things we had hoped to do (like the train ride) closed early so we missed out. We should have checked as soon as we arrived, so...More

This is a lovely modernizing zoo filled with many newly designed modern enclosures, with many more planned that to Portland taxpayers' approval of zoo improvement bonds. It's also a very manageable size that can be toured in a leisurely three hours or so. Good facilities...More

Went here with our parents and had a great time. I would recommend a visit for kids of all ages including us 'big' kids! Very informative and entertaining. Nice place to eat or bring a picnic.

The zoo is situated in a very pretty parklike atmosphere. There was no food available, (there were numerous foodcourts, but were all closed) Made for a nice, but hungry, afternoon

These animals have become domesticated pets, they will be harmed by a concert as much as your Dog or Cat would be harmed if you watched the Harry Potter collection with your sound bar on higher volume. 🤷🏻‍♂️👍🏽
