Let me begin by saying we normally buy the family, yearly membership that includes the Zoo Lights during the holidays. That level of membership is worth it if you have a family. Being able to go through the shorter line during Zoo Lights makes the...More

I've been going to this zoo for my whole life. It's a nice sized zoo and it's located close to the city (you can take Max and avoid paying for parking). They are continually improving exhibits and the new elephant exhibit is much better than...More

Hadn't been to the zoo in years. The elephant exhibit was amazing. And for families, because you are strolling, it's a nice leisurely activity!

The recent changes to the elephants habitat is wonderful. My grandkids love to see them up close and in the water. It is very exciting! I am glad they have some different places to eat too. The zoo is one of our favorite places to...More

I've been going here since I was a kid and it's gotten even better in recent years with new exhibits.

Please read about me before judging my review. Also, I hate the idea of a zoo, and caged animals, period. They belong in nature. BUT sadly, this may soon be the last vestige of some of these creatures. So in that respect, it is a...More

I don't care for zoos. I generally avoid them. A zoo concert and a grandson got me to the Portland zoo. In terms of confinement for animals I have seen far worse. Zoos imprison innocent animals, period. I know the old "saving endangered species" argument....More

Nice zoo, best of all are the summer concert series they have. Top names in Music come to the zoo and you can have beer or wine and relax on the grass or bring chairs. Easy to get around and friendly staff.

Don't sell your tickets! Go to the concert! It is a lovely venue if not raining and our summer nights are usually good. You are by the elephants but animals will not be out after concert ends. I have been attending the... More
