At the Travel Portland Visitor Information Center you'll find brochures, maps and expert advice for your stay in the greater Portland region - all in the heart of downtown at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Within easy walking distance of downtown hotels and served by MAX light rail, the square also houses TriMet, where you can buy transit tickets. HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday (May-October only) 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Looking for assistance and suggestions for Portland. This is the place to go. Paid & Volunteer staff are very good to talk to and obtain suggestions from. Maps, guides for getting around, some postcards and lots of literature but they do restrict one to one...More

Went to the visitor center to get advice on our visit to Portland. Wonderful suggestions on happy hours, breweries, metro MAX, gardens as well as traveling to the waterfalls, Mt Hood, the ocean. Thank you for the great advice

We are regular visitors but still go here when we want additional information about the City or the State. Loads of maps and brochures available plus very knowledgable' approachable staff.

I have never heard of them. I would trust the Hotel Websites or Trivago..
