Not a pleasant experience. Lots of addicts and homeless people camped on the grass. Very sad. It certainly wasn’t the vibrant area we had read about.

A wonderful urban waterfront park where you can watch river flows and birds fly. A nice morning walk for me and I would like to return.

My food was just meh… Tbh I’ve had better fish and chips at Long John Silver’s. My daughter had a burger and said it was fine. Maybe this is a local fast food chain and it is what it is, but I was expecting more, especially on the Oregon coast.

Just another way Portland offers a chance to walk or ride outside yet right in the midst of a large city.

Not recommend. You don't get what they advertise or promise and that is why they don't refund your money because they know in advance that you're not going to be satisfied once you attend and are likely to request a refund like a lot of other people. Basically, it's not family or children friendly environment. So much people for the space that it's hard to even walk around, see anything, there's no place to sit because they're all taken in a very limited space, all dust in the air and people drinking and smoking wherever they want. The food and drinks are disgusting among other things. You can see the fireworks from anywhere outside the event. Paying to get in is only a disadvantage and such a waste of money.

This park is very nice and right on the river. Nice views of all the bridges. But there are a lot of homeless people. Many seem to be in need of mental health professionals or drug rehab. It’s concerning. I’m an adult so I wasn’t super worried but I wouldn’t bring kids here.

Formerly a favorite destination in PDX and a "must see" place for any walking tour of Portland. Since COVID and the nightly riots and demonstrations, the place has badly deteriorated. Homeless encampments, trash and graffiti. Needles and empty booze bottles are commonly seen in the grass and sidewalk. Rude and aggressive panhandling. Cops do not care. Avoid it.

Not much going on here other than it is on the Willamette River. It's kind of cool to look at the ridges but there isn't much else to do. With the exception of dodging jerks on bicycles riding too fast.

This waterfront area is very nice for a walk, run, bike ride etc. The Portland Saturday market takes place on this strip during the weekends. There’s also different types of events like the rose festival, music festivals and the international beer festival that happen throughout the summer.

Great place to hang out to watch people and wildlife. Stroll down to Saturday/Sunday market for a bite.
