The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is a nationally-renowned science center providing science learning to a range of audiences. Our programming is guided by OMSI’s long-term vision to promote a healthy, innovative, and sustainable society where everyone is prepared to participate in civic life.

OMSI’s science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programming helps visitors and program participants master 21st century skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration. We achieve this vision through exhibits, classes, camps, traveling educators, and adult programs around the state, making OMSI a trusted educational resource to all Oregonians.

Great seasonal exhibits, and fun fixed displays too. Kids will have a total blast with the interactive booths, and adults have the chance to play like a kid - especially if you purchase a ticket to OMSI after-dark (21 and older).

Great place for all ages and there are special days when the costs is much less than peak days. You can spend hours full of delightful exhibits and experiences. Parking is good and it is free unlike the Japanese Garden. Entry there will blow your mind!

This museum needs an update to its title: "Oregon Children's Museum of Science and Industry". We couldn't find much to our interest but hundreds of families seem to be having a good time.

Visited the OMSI with my daughter and grandson. Paid extra to see the Art of the Brick and a movie, Lego Batman. We spent most of our day and part of our evening at the OMSI. Lots to see and experience. My grandson loved this place! Great place for kids! and us big kids! :) The location was easy to... More

The line was very long to enter museum. We were going to Lego Exhibit which is not a regular part of museum. The core museum was basic and really geared for kids. There were a few additional costs but it adds up - tour a submarine (additional cost), planetarium (additional cost), and Lego Exhibit (additional cost). Without young kids I... More

Once I found out about this ever changing landscape of learning and fun I couldn't help but "force" my children to go several times a year. I may watch them ride the crazy rides at the carnival on the sidelines but at OMSI I have gotten on earthquake simulators, noise machines and more with them. It has taught all of... More

Had a really good time exploring the exhibits on display. Both kids we're enthralled the entire time with plenty of fun activities and information. This is an all day experience, plan accordingly because you will be exhausted by the end. The full package is the best value and in our opinion the only way to go. The planetarium was dope,... More
