Now this is a great bookstore!!!! Too many floors to mention. In a world where everything is online it is wonderful to wander through the stacks and relax in true coffee shop pouring through books

You have got to love Amazon’s convenience. But nothing beats the experience and merchandising at Powell’s, the premier independent U.S. book purveyor. Taking up an entire square block in Portland, what sets Powell’s apart is the love its staff brings to their work and the...More

I wasnt sure if it was a good Idea to visit a bookstore because usually I'm not into shopping while traveling. But this was a great experience. The variety of titles was remarkable. The atmosphere was super cool. Would love to come back.
