Tried to go there today but it was the administration office and not open. Two farmers markets in a row and same thing happened.

Hi SuperFunSuperPicky, We're sorry it was frustrating to find our market. Business listings are challenging for us because we have multiple markets throughout the week, but search results often show our administrative office. We are working hard to figure out the best way to let customers know where our markets are located to avoid confusion. We always recommend visiting our... More

Even if you're visiting Portland, as opposed to going to the market to purchase food for your household, this is a fun and delicious place to explore! There are many vendors selling food for breakfast or lunch, really interesting treats to take back home (honey, hazelnuts, special jams, cheeses, sausages, and condiments) and the flowers will take your breath away!... What a great market, next to Portland State. It has everything, I like it better than any of the farmer market in the San Francisco area. It is huge and you want to tired everything and eat everything. I consider this a highlight of Portland

One the best markets I have been to,lots of local produce, cheese, herbs, foraged mushrooms. You can spend hours walking through and sampling the different offerings. We gathered some items to fix for dinner in our hotel room. Quite an education in the local culture and offerings, great family activity.

The market begins in waterfront park and stretches for blocks offering everything from food to flowers to music and jewelry + so much more. A great experience on Sunday and Saturdays.

Just wow. Best farmers' market we've seen since France. Fabulous fresh fruits and vegetables- the best peaches I have ever eaten - delicious local meats, fresh fish, breads, pastries, nuts and coffee. And it's priced accordingly. Suggestion: get there early, by 9:15 or so, as the crowds start pouring in by 10 am.

Diverse people and goods. Be smart, watch your wallet etc. Go with others. Very fun experience. Bring a little cash as some don't take cards and you may want to tip a street performance. Can be a little spiritually dark sometimes.
