Traveling and shopping at local and farmers' markets, and there are some amazing ones, still makes me appreciate coming back to ours. It's a weekly event, and having it year 'round just means that the fruits and veggies are super fresh and crisp, like us and the air.

I've been to quite a few farmers markets in different cities and this one was the best. I was blown away by the selection of fruits/veggies but also all the other great artisanal items like cheeses, salamis, honey, liquors and so on. I could have spent hours and hundreds of dollars here (I did neither). There were also lots of... More

Last time we checked out Portland Farmers Market was about five years ago. It was in spring and we were not that impressed. Fast Forward to this trip in the fall and the difference was like day and night. There were so many beautiful variety of organic produce. The prepared food was not that great and was very carb heavy.... More

Wonderful variety, great location, friendly vendors, tasty treats. I've been here twice at different seasons and both times were a fun foody adventure. Enjoyed the chef at the market program

Had a great breakfast from the burrito vendor, bought cheese, summer sausage, cookies, vegetables at great prices. Also bought some gin so all four of us found something we all liked plus it was just a fun place to go.

We come to Portland once a year and we ALWAYS hit the Portland market. I LOVE this place! I find lots of fun start to buy here. My new favorite find is Atlas Cider.

I really wished I could have purchased to take home but I didn't think I could add cauliflower and cabbage to my suitcase! It was all fresh and beautiful produce, reasonably priced especially the flowers! Good location, easy to get to, walking distance from hotels. Pastries were delish and reasonable.

Check out this diverse market--all the Oregon produce you expect and more. Plenty of lunch time opportunities if you are not already full from the plethora of samples. Tasty!

This huge market has everything relating to food and floral. Many vendors offering diverse selections (produce, meat/poultry, mushrooms, honey, bakery, prepared foods, craft beverages and floral). Set on the campus of Portland State University. Lots of options for a full lunch or just a snack. Street parking. No artists, simply food related vendors. If I lived in the area, I'd... More
