Washington Park is a great space close to city center. Hiking trails, museums, gardens, zoo are close enough to walk to or use public transportation.

Walked through the park, and it was incredibly pretty with colorful spring blooms. The bathroom that I went into was clean, and the park was, as well.

a beautiful and peaceful refuge in side the city. The rose garden is exceptionally beautiful in the spring but the park is a lovely place to enjoy year round.

No specific bike trails, but there are plenty of bikers on the winding roads through the park. Check out the park map.

Yes it is the zoo. Washington Park has the rose garden, a Japanese garden, the zoo and some hiking trails.

Max red drops you off below it, take elevator to the top nd you will be smack dab in the middle of the entrances for zoo, children's museum and trolley tour pick up
