I am a local and love to head to Washington Park to get a quick hike in. This park butts up against Forest Park for an even longer hike if you wish. Beautiful trees and also open fields.

Nature lovers, hikers, and flower lovers all will love this. Terrific views and very accessible. The park has a free seasonal shuttle which will take you to different destinations within the park if its too much walking.

Every city seems to have at least one gem of a park. This is Portland's. So many activities in a relatively small area.
