We love the MW corner, Inn at Northrup Station, great food choices, good walking, streetcar. Portland has a number of great areas but this is one of most interesting...of course walk up the hill and see the amazing houses, the reason it's called Nob Hill.

We walked around the area for awhile, and it was a nice walk. I think I expected more so was a bit disappointing.

You can take the Streetcar to the Legacy Hospital which is close to the Nob Hill area. An eclectic collection of of small business that is sure to have something for everyone. In some ways, a step back to an earlier time. Restaurants and bars abound.

Can't beat the great shopping, restaurants and vibe of this iconic neighborhood. Great to walk both 21 and 23rd streets, grab a coffee or a beer or stop in for a slice from Escape from NY pizza and just enjoy the people watching.

My daughter and I rented an apartment on Nob Hill. I thought parking would be a problem, but with the parking permit left for us in our apartment it was not a problem. We never parked more than a block away from our place. Walking along 23rd was fun, but not really my style. The donuts at Blue Star were... More

Let me start out with a disclaimer: I am a Portland native and I am mid-to upper middle class income level. Northwest 23rd Avenue is full of overpriced shops and boutiques that are way out of my price range and just not my style. I remember frequenting NW 23rd back in my early twenties and really enjoying it. Currently there... More

We had a Portland Visitor bureau employee tell us to go to this up and coming area. Wow, it's got lots of wonderful shops and restaurants with more to come. We had the most fun here, try to catch whatever mass transit gets you here to enjoy this area. Wonderful!

An interesting place to drive through to look at the old homes and historical buildings up on Nob Hill. It gives you a feel of Portland. Always interesting.
