Easy access from the highway. Beautiful stream running by it. Clean restrooms and showers available. Large open grass area for games. quick walk to the beach area. we were there in October and the trees were turning, very nice indeed.

I was not camping, but stopped in here to have a picnic lunch. The campground and day-use areas are separate. The campground is fairly close to the ocean, but the day use area is tucked back behind Humbug Mountain. There are no ocean views and...More

We stopped on a whim, the sun was shining right on the campground on an otherwise rainy day. The campground has a nice mix of power/water sites and tent sites. Can accommodate big rigs. The beach is secluded and really pretty.

It all started with an Australian who didn't know it was a Labor Day long weekend and hadn't booked any camp sites. Yakes! We found Humbug camping and first impressions were positive not just because they had a site available. The campsite is huge with...More

We stayed here for 4 nights in our RV. While it does offer beach access, it sits alongside Hwy 101 so there is a lot of road noise especially from truckers. We also had only sporadic cell reception within the park. The showers were hot...More

We were road tripping through the coast and this place wasn’t on our list. We passed it up and decided to go back and check it out. It was a fun 2 hour stop. We did a little short hike through such beautiful greenery. We...More

We stayed here one night on our way up the coast so didn't stay long. We were in the first loop which is smaller and quieter (at least for us) than the larger loop down the road. Inner sites are RV and outer sites are...More

Hiked to the top of the trail 6 miles, 1750 foot of elevation change. The path is narrow, well defined and the slope is gradual. Mostly forested to where you can't see the ocean except for a few stops along the way. Highly recommended...

Great park for camping, hiking, beach walking, whale watching, we thoroughly enjoyed this park. It is a great space for kids and families. Strenuous or easy hikes available, but little cell phone coverage except on the beach. The highway is near the camping area but...More

The difficult hike (for 70+ folks) was more than enough. The hike itself is beautiful through the rain forest but getting to the summit was disappointing. There is not much to see. The trees hide the view of the coast and the sea. My second...More

Yes, school groups could easily hike from the B loop camping area under the Highway 101 bridge out to the shore. Even at high tide, there is plenty of beach and plenty of driftwood up high above the waves. As in all Oregon... More
