We are from the east, out here visiting family 1-2 times a year. TO US, the weather does not promote "Beach activities" as it does on the right-coast!, so the beach has little to no attraction to us other than the beauty of the ocean....More

We walked around here and it was cute, but didn't stay too long. There were cute shops and eateries, but we didn't really go into many.

Only a few blocks this way and that way, but a fun stop for a meal, ice cream, bakery goods, candies, and/or gallery shopping. Parking can be a bit tricky, but persevere and you'll find a spot.

Access to a beautiful beach, lots of places to eat with a wide variety of food types, choices, and price point. Cute shops to wander through and some older homes to see while walking.

Love this area. There are some decent places to eat, some fun shops to prowl, free parking, and access to a wonderful stretch of beach. Life is good here!

Even in the rain this was a fun place to wander around, see the shops & galleries, then stop in for a beer at the pub. Great coffee & breakfast places.

I'm sorry, I do not know the official answer regarding dogs off leash, however, I suspect the review by Dolly209 is probably correct. Every time I have visited the Oregon coast I have seen dogs running free on the beach with... More
