Just visited Penner-Ash winery with my fiancée. He hosts clients frequently for his business and always buys P-A during dinners. We asked to visit this winery to have the experience in person and it absolutely delivered!! The scenery is second to none!! The garden, flowers, wine selections and staff are phenomenal! If you visit, be sure to ask for Philippe Isnard as your host. He is phenomenal!! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and fun! Excellent visit!

We stopped here for a tasting paired with small bites and had an amazing time. Excellent wine and some of the best views in the Valley. The elevated pairing option was fun to try the wines alongside specially prepared food.

As we toured through willamette a number of people mentioned this winery. We give it 5 stars because it checks all the boxes at a high level:
1. Awesome wine including the “wine with no name” because it’s so good and blends the 5 original ava’s together.
2. Beautiful tasting room and scenery. New, modern, spacious, and immaculate
3. Great service. From the greeting to your last pour the staff is amazing.
At the end of the day add this great winery to your list. If you are most passionate about one of the three grading points above there may be better wineries for you. But as a whole, Penner-ash is great!

In a recent trip to Oregon's wine country we made Penner-Ash a must stop based on a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. Recommendations are a must for most all wine tastings. The weather was beautiful and we were seated outside under an umbrella with a view of a number of vineyards. Service was excellent and the Pinot Noir was outstanding. We ended up buying four bottles.

On a slow Monday we dropped by, not a single visitor there. Without an advance reservation the lady sent us away. Plenty of other better wine makers to visit in Willamette Valley. Try nearby Utopia Winery instead.

We visited Penner- Ash for the third time in a number of years. The setting and views are spectacular. However, the tasting experience was pedestrian at best. Our hosts appeared to be going through the motions. We had to work hard to engage them. Part of the tasting experience is having some fun and engaging. Not so much this time.

I took some colleagues here for a nice wine tasting experience and we were blow away by the hospitality of our host and hostess, Reid and and Jessica. And OF COURSE the wine matched the top notch service. We enjoyed seating by the fireplace with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Visited mid-August and had a wonderful time. They've always had outdoor seating so social distancing was not an issue. Wines were as delicious as we remember them from our last visit. Yes, we keep coming back, for a reason. We love the wine, the view, the people. You can't ask for anything more.

Heard they had great wines but when we heard you could bring your own picnic, that made the choice easy. We picked up some meats and bread and cheeses in Dundee and got a lovely table overlooking the valley.
The wines were great and the hostess was so warm and friendly and knowledgeable. Each couple ended up buying a case and we joined the wine club because it was excellent wine you can't get anywhere and the price is extremely reasonable given how excellent the wine is. There was no pressure, no rushing you and no snobbery. Penner Ash was a great spot to end our journey.
The tasting fee is very reasonable and waived with a $65 purchase.
I love that they encourage you to picnic there when other places do not allow it.
We loved our trip to the Willamette Valley!
