On a Thursday afternoon my son and I arrived at Roco Winery. Kelly made us feel welcome and provided a great tasting experience with a sparkling wine and an array of Pinot Noir. We asked to add a 2014 Willamette Valley Chardonnay which was outstanding! After completing our purchases I enjoyed the view from their deck outside the tasting room.... More

We stopped in here while in the area visiting family. As I expected, the wines were outstanding and lovingly crafted. Thumbs up to the owner and winemaker--a fellow Texas A&M Aggie.

We planned our trip to Roco based on a recommendation from a friend. Now We see why! Our hostess, Mel, was charming, knowledgeable, and very excited about serving (and having people try) Roco wines. She even offered us a sample of a Pinot that was not in the tasting schedule for that day.... just saying... each couple bought some! Yummy!... More

A relatively new winery, with reputation for excellent Pinot Noir. Unfortunately we don't drink Pinot Noir, so couldn't appreciate the tasting experience. We did share a flight of 5 samples, and ending up buying $100 worth of Chardonnay (two bottles). The tasting fee of $15 was NOT waived (you have to buy six bottles for that, a prohibitive amount if... More

Had the 2012 Roco Pinot Noir at Veritable Quandary, and had to search it out. My wife and I were headed south, so she called and received excellent directions. We arrived a short time later--the drive was pretty, and the establishment is beautiful. Elyse Lovenworth attended to us, and took excellent care of us--she knows her wines, and was delightful... We had some excellent Pinot Noirs at this tasting room. Being from California we expected grape vines surrounding the place, and initially were disappointed. We got over that pretty quickly after the tasting of their selection. The hospitality was outstanding and the wines were even better.

We stopped by on a sunny Sunday. The tasting room was attractive and we stepped up for a tasting flight. The girl at the room was very unwelcoming. In fact, she was telling other patrons that the day before she called a neighboring winery to tell them to stop sending people her way. I don't know too many businesses that... More

Roco was our first stop during a two day (six wineries) self-guided tour and it turned out to be our best experience. We chose Roco because we had tasted a bottle of Roco pinot noir two years earlier at Bistro Maison and wanted to see if it was still excellent. Every pour was superb. Moreover, our wine server was friendly,... More

Roco Winery is absolutely a "must visit" while you're in Oregon wine country. The setting is beautiful- rolling hills of vineyards, breathtaking views- and the tasting room is perfection, both in ambience and service. Our hostess on the day of our visit was Jessica, who was both incredibly gracious as well as knowledgable- we had a wonderful time tasting their amazing... More
