Went with two kids 8 and 11 and it was enjoyed by all. The visitors center has a really cool walk through display that engaged both kids and adults

Champoeg State Park is a great place for a one day family outing, as well as, a beautiful place to camp for a few days. The museum depicting the early days of Oregon is well done, especially the movie.

One faucet serves the rustic cabins and it’s closer to cabin one than to cabin 5 but not far at all from any of them.

There is a picnic table at each site. Often times families will rent many sites and drag all the tables to one site then return them when they're done.
