Tours start at 10 am sharp, M-F.

Come and learn about the wonderful world of stone grinding whole grains on a free guided tour of the BRM manufacturing facility. Our friendly 'Grain Guides' provide you with a brief history of how Bob and Charlee Moore championed the goodness of simple, natural whole grains and created a company now respected around the world. You will watch the action of a working mill as seen through our viewing windows. Questions are welcome during a discussion about the healthful benefits of our wide variety of grain products. Everyone leaves with a free sample. Tours generally last about 1 1/2 hours. Following the tour our visitors are invited to travel one mile to our Whole Grain Store and Cafe for lunch and shopping. Both of our buildings are accessible to everyone and families are always welcome.

The tour of the World Headquarters of Bob's Red Mill is very informative and made fun by Christy and her team. She gives a comprehensive overview of how Bob started out and how he grew into the company he is today. Well done!

So glad you enjoyed your visit. Of course, we want to teach you new things about Bob's Red Mill but adding a little lively fun keeps us all entertained. So many times I see in the faces of our visitors those 'ah ha' moments when a new bit of information clicks into place and makes sense of a practice they've... More

Looking thru the Travel Portland booklet, saw the ad for Bob's Red Mill factory, tour and restaurant. Had to check it out as we have purchased their items at home. It did not disappoint! The tour guide (sorry I forgot her name) was so organized & informative and made me appreciate Bob's RM goods even more. We may have had... More

Whenever visitors come to see our Mill and Whole Grain Store our goal is to send them away with their expectations exceeded and their imaginations (and taste buds) stimulated- 'I can't wait to get home to my kitchen to bake some Morning Glory muffins!' I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. By the way, did you hear that Bob's trip to... More

Taking the tour made me love this company even more. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. It was interesting seeing the factory line in action, and I was impressed by how clean and organized (and not super high-speed) the whole operation was. You can learn a lot about the different grains, and you can see the old mills... More

While we never promise you'll see Bob, it is amazing that an 87 year old still comes to work everyday! He is an inspiration to many with his vigor, optimism, and vision. Plus he's just a very easy person to talk to. A year or two back one of the food magazines described him as the "improbable poster-boy of the... More

I often purchase Bob's items and when I found out they offer a factory tour and have a restaurant I just had to go! I was spending a week in Portland and the factory is only a short drive away. It was a great tour, very interactive and I learned a lot of fun facts! It was great to get... More

Thanks for the great review Emily! We often get visitors who are familiar with our food products from their own local grocery store...many states away. We're glad you found us and glad you are spreading the word about our Mill tours and great Restaurant. By the way, starting this week, a new beautiful sign will help everyone locate our Whole... This was a wonderful store of grains, mixes, bulk items, bakery, kitchen utensils and so much more from this famous natural foods company. I was unable to take the tour or eat in their restaurant since it was closing but I trust that both were most enjoyable. Someone was playing the piano as I shopped and it was simply a... More

That someone playing the piano was most likely Bob himself! He enjoys an audience so next time follow the music and meet the founder of our company. At 87 years old he says playing the piano keeps his fingers nimble and his brain active. We say keep it up. CCC More

This is a great tour even though you will just be peering through windows at machines. But the story of how Bob started all this, and the details of the mixing and packaging are well related by the tour guide/ and the video. and there is a bonus - some free samples.

I have celiac disease so getting to your Bob's Red Mill was very interesting! Great tour lady. Very clean factory. Got to learn what stone rolled means. As well as steel cut. Found out all the awesome different products they make too. A wonderful, and free activity!

We are foodies, and like quality food products. This is a great tour and a great place to visit. It's also an American success story. The mill is a clean, bright, place with very interesting things to see. The tour is informative and teaches all about grains. It really broadened our thinking about what we can eat.
