It is also exposed to the sun and it is much warmer than the lower table rock hike. Both hikes have an enormous amount of poison oak and there is a lot... More

I was in town for the week doing some work and wanted to see some quick sites. Glad I did the hike. Great view and good exercise but the weather was rain all week with dark overcast. I bet on a clear day it's wonderful.

Usually see table rock on my way to work. Kept asking the coworkers if it was easy to access and boy was it. Right off the road you park and then saddle up. Only took is about 2 hours to get to the top. Nice sunny day. Beautiful clear skies. Ease of hike was moderate. It was my husky and... More

This is a popular hike with locals. I'm a local who went on a group morning hike after a recent snowfall. It was cold but warmed up by noon. It was steep and frozen in a few places but the well-maintained trail made it an easy and enjoyable hike. It's only about 21/2 miles round trip, taking about 40 minutes... More

Table Rock Road to wheeler rd to parking lot for Lower Table Rock Trail. Per the BLM site, it is a 1.75 mile hike. Large parking lot with bathrooms. Path is wide and covered with lots of gravel to help sop up all the moisture. If you are a regular hiker, this is a nice short workout that shouldn't take... More

Upper and lower table rock has been a sacred place back to the Native American people. The legend, or tale is that the Rogue Valley was flooded 10s of thousand of years ago and the water level is where the table rocks are at. The both offer great hiking trails for the beginner to intermediate hiker. Watch for snakes in... More

Fun medium level hike up to the Lower Table Rock. Good trail but uphill all the way. Good parking lot. Not much to do once you get to the top since it is covered with lava rock.

This is an awesome hike for any age. Its a little steep so if you have a stroller or carrying a little one it might take you a hair longer. The views are worth it.
