This is my second visit & its better each time I stop, wonderful info on the area, logging, indian,military etc, stop in & get a taste of the local history, & check out the outbuildings.

This is a wonderful little museum, in So. Oregon located between Grants Pass on HWY 199 & the Oregon coast,has lots of local history plus lots of other stuff, including the mining, Native Americans with baskets etc, a number of military time frames,early telephones, a very good variety, also has a barn with the Livery stable items etc, as well... More

This museum comprises two houses side by side. One contains an eclectic collection of exhibits about the local area. The other is the refurbished house of a local middle class resident. The exhibition is vast, and covers all aspects of life in the town before the collapse of the mining era, including exhibits not only about mining but about native... More
