Highlight of the trip!

We toured the foundry on a previous visit. The Gallery is right downtown and has an amazing diverse group of artists and mediums. One of the nicest galleries in the Northwest!

Learned the process for creating bronze works. So interesting. Also learned they made the bronze pieces for WWII Memorial in Washington DC.

Enjoyed very much the tour, the pieces, etc. Makes me wish I'd chosen another line of work so as to be able to afford it.

We had no idea what artistry it took to make a bronze. The foundry tour was amazing & fascinating. Highly recommend this tour. Need to buy tickets at the downtown gallery for the 11 AM tour.

Main Street in Joseph, OR is lined with huge bronze statues, so a visit to the local Valley Bronze foundry should be a must-see on your list. We got our tickets at the gallery downtown and then walked down to the foundry for the tour. Our guide was very informative and fun. She answered all our questions and we saw a lot of cool pieces in process. It was a Sunday so no production was happening but it was excellent.

The excellent tour guide provides a detailed explanation at each stage of the completion of cast bronze art pieces. You will learn things you never expected to.
