We were looking up where we could see great views of Mt. Hood and this place popped up. On a clear day, you can get a nice shot of the Mountain. Now we're traveling in March so not the best weather. It had been raining non-stop but for some reason today cleared up and the sun came out. We were... More

This was the third place we went for wine tasting during our visit. The bartender was great and we enjoyed tasting the wines, but we found other wines we enjoyed more. The wine tasting room is small without many seats and the outdoor patio overlooks the parking lot and the golf course.

Lynette and Bob are the perfect Hosts! We were with a group of 10 for this tour and tasting and we had a blast. Bob's knowledge of grapes, vines, the earth and the entire winemaking process is fascinating! Lynette's appetizer pairings were delicious and the view from their table is absolutely spectacular!! We instantly become club members and look forward... More

Enjoyed the van ride (though rough) up into the vineyard. The most beautiful view of Mt. Hood, the valley and grape vines. Enjoyed the food wine pairing around an intimate table with my friends--only 6 of us. The wines we tasted were not available for tasting in the public tasting room. The tour even included barrel tasting. The owner showed... More

Tucked back in the hills outside of Hood, OR, this is a great local vineyard with a really good Sauvignon Blanc. The views of the mountains on a clear day are striking. Next to a country club with a golf course this is great place to come just to visit or play a round of gold and enjoy drinks after.

We were lucky enough to visit the pr I vate Vinyard and Vanessa was AWESOME! The views were amazing and very quaint. The dog Rose was a crown pleaser as well! The tasting room by the golf course was fine. It was stifling hot, the service was ok, and understaffed. We loved the Rose and Sav blanc... we I'll be... More

Vanessa was a great host(ess) at our tasting. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the vineyard and vintages were impressive. The wines are a bit pricey but not out of line with other Hood River wineries. The location is along side a country club golf course which makes it a relaxing place to sample their wines.

Fun spot to sample wine with family, great tasting wine. My favorite wine is the Cab and we managed to take several selections home with us.

The location/tasting room was on a golf course, a bit cozy with several people there. The wine was outstanding. Everything we tasted was worth a purchase. Super friendly and knowledgable staff. Even the Gewürztraminer was not sweet and excellent. Tasting fee waived with purchase, we walked out with 4 bottles. Pinot was a bit pricey, but it was excellent.

Phelps Creek had many Pinot's that were fairly good, but their "salesmanship" was off. It's hard to explain - they had the facts, but they seemed a bit aloof like here it is, take it or leave it. If you like Pinot wines (white and red), then you'd probably like the wine. However, their prices were the highest of the... More
