To go Oregon and not to vist Mount Hood is like going to Peru and not going to macchu Picchu... no matter the weather or season... Moun Hood is always beautiful and relaxing... do not misss it, winter or summer is always fun and easy to acces (unless a super storm)

It's Mt. Hood a great place to hike , ski, board etc.. There is something to do all year round. The Mountain Is beautiful whether your simply looking at it from a far or picking berries in the summer. This is a not to be missed experience any time of the year. So just go do it.

Love the skiing at Timberline! Highly recommend the snowcat trip up Palmer Express if you're an experienced skier - fantastic, fast ski down to Magic Mile and to the lodge from there. Ski school staff is great: although there was no skiing for the first hour of the level 3 lesson for my husband and son, my daughter actually ended... More

I hiked 20 miles around and on mount hood. It is peaceful and serene and a great place to reflect. The drive to the base of the mountain is incredible and picturesque.

It appears Mt. Hood is bashful. We have been checking in daily since we arrived Wednesday to see if the cloud would clear. Unfortunately this trip out looks like the mountain wins. On a positive note this means I need to come back to see.

Went on one of the many hiking trails. The moss covered, old growth forest, was surely worth the trip. The quality of light, sights & sounds of running water were a welcome change. Would return over & over again.

We didn't have time to visit, but the views from the plane were incredible. Also, you can see the mountain well from various points in the city.

3 month cross country trip and Mt. Hood was one of our stops. We stayed at Lost Lake Campground which was a mistake. Wish we had stayed on the other side of the mountain where the ski village is.
