We visited several wineries in Hood River and this one was by far our favorite. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable that we instantly felt at home here. Also her prices were so much better than the other places. We ended up with several...More

This winery is somewhat off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. Generous wine tasting by a most congenial and knowledgeable hostess in a lovely rustic vineyard atmosphere without pressure or hustle. The delicious wines 'speak' for themselves and are priced to spring off...More

This isn't a fancy tasting room and the wines are decent and worth a taste. There are a number of fruit ports which are interesting.

Rather a sad little spot that disappoints immensely. That is, it's in a gorgeous location and surrounding vineyards are first-rate. However, the tasting room is virtually a hot shed, presided over by a grumpy gent who misleads about the offerings. All whites tasted like vinegar...More

Nice setting, friendly staff, and some of their wines are very nice. Try the Gewurz...it is special.

Not the most impressive winery in Hood River - it lacks the polish of the others in the valley. However, they are the oldest winery in the area so it does have it's place in the market. I tried several of their traditional wines, but...More

The road to Hood River Vineyards is steep and gravel, flanked by vineyards that look untended, with long grass and weeds growing into the vines. When we arrived, I asked to use the restroom, which was very dated, cramped by a large water heater, had...More

Nice owner. Nasty wine, and place. Bathroom could pass for a cheap gas station, and the wine is not worth the trip.... We actually bought a bottle instead of tasting, and that was the worst choice. We ended up dumping the wine when we got...More
