Wonderful park to stop for a picnic and take a stroll along the rivers edge. Feed the ducks, listen to the birds and watch the jet boats.

Grants Pass is a charming, small town in southern Oregon, and one of it's gems is Riverside Park. It's host to music festivals, family reunions, afternoon picnics, kids playing on well-designed play structures, a gaggle of geese and a huge flock of ducks. It is a wonderfully designed, family-oriented, beautifully maintained park that is in the heart of the city.... More

really a nice park if you can avoid the bird poop. yeah, there are a number of ducks and geese in this park. if you're a bird lover or someone who don't mind stepping on bird poop, then you're golden:)

Riverside Park is well maintained and offers locals and visitors a relaxed and friendly park for everyone. I live very near and walk it often. The summer has free concerts in the park which is a real delight. The picnic area near the playground is perfect for families who want a fun day away from home. Right now, it's Christmas... More

Nice setting, huge area with lots of big trees & grass. The only downfall are the homeless, but not enough of the to make u leave. We went primarily for our dog to run and exercise. There is a leash law, but we let her off because it's so massive that there's no one around. AND, Watch out for geese... More

We really enjoyed the playground and the expansive green area. Between the river and playground, we got a little closer to nature than we expected, since geese and other birds do their business here.

The Riverside Park is a lovely cool place on those 100 degree days for which the region is famous. Wear you swim suit and dip in the cold River. There are covered picnic tables, restrooms and a children's play area.

Perfect for the five and under child to enjoy the park, run on the grass, see ducks and geese and play on a huge variety of equipment!

Grass is green, plenty of shade. The playground is fantastic and super clean. Our kids really enjoy playing here and seeing the ducks.

I have spent a lot of time in this park as I have lived in Grants Pass most of my life. The park is very lovely and they really do take care of it. I will say though that when I was there with my family having a picnic- we had an issue with someone walking up that was on... More
