One of the most unique tourist attractions on the Oregon Coast, the Prehistoric Gardens is great for young and old alike. Just 17 miles north of Gold Beach lies an untouched prehistoric garden complete with 23 life size dinosaurs set among a lush 300 year old Oregon rainforest. The self-guided tour allows you to casually stroll along the path and discover what the Earth was like millions of years ago. Family owned and operated since 1955, this eco-friendly attraction is a must see! Pet-Friendly! Dogs are allowed to take the tour for FREE as long as they are on a leash.

$12 for adults and $8 for children. Having 6 family members, it was pretty expensive for a 20-25 minute walk. It was interesting that the dinosaurs were built to scale so you can get perspective on their sizes. The gift shop was decent and the...More

Highway 101 is known for a few of its "tourists trap". This one was a pleasant surprise but it only takes one visit to take it all in. Very clean. Interpretive signs were helpful. Works of art amidst a shady and cool forest. A fun...More

Just happened by this little gem. What a fantastic display of the Prehistoric times. Everything is what seems to be life like and everything has an information board that gives some history on each display. The setting makes it a better experience.

Nice little park with a trail that leads you on a prehistorical walk through the land of dinosaurs. The walk takes about 30-45 minutes even if you read all the information. The dinosaurs could use a little touch up paint but the enormity of the...More
