Touring the interior of the lightkeepers residence is not only enjoyable but thoroughbly educational. How they live. The 'Resident Ghost' and other little known bits of lighthouse keepers. Great view from the tower.

The tour definitely sets the experience apart. There is one for the old lighthouse keeper home and one for the light house itself.

Iconic, beautiful, the type of a scene that usually is only seen in photos or imagined paintings. Nothing in the world is as beautiful as the Oregon coastline.

I enjoyed delicious a seven-course breakfast here and toured the three bedrooms. We were not able to climb to the top of the lighthouse, unfortunately, but the setting is breathtaking. If you want a special couple event, I can't imagine a better place for it...More

Can get crowded in the summer. Best time to visit is the shoulder season--especially in the fall months.

We walked 1/2 mile from the parking to the lighthouse, and a bit further up the hillside on a trail that offers a view of the lighthouse, level with the light. It was a rainy, windy day, nearing sundown, with amazing, ethereal lighting that made...More

The day I visited, the light house was not open for tours, but I could tell just walking up to it, and around it, and reading the information displays that this is a great place to visit. The beach is very nice, with picnic tables...More

Yes, you can go in from 11 to 3, 7 days a week. However it has been under some maintenance and may only be able to enter the ground level. I'm not sure though. You will need to contact them at... More

The forecast is calling for thunderstorms. Is the lighthouse open to visitors if there is thunder and lightening, and would it be miserable to go there with a baby in bad weather?
