Fun little spot

Fun little day spot. They do charge for parking. Great place to have an extended picnic with the family. Parking fills up quick, wish they would add a few spots.

My spouse and I been going her for years, having lived nearby while in college. We'd often bike, run or walk up there, and it's a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown or campus. Our daughter is attending UO now, and we recently drove up to the park to share a picnic among the peaceful tall fir trees. The rhododendrons... More

Lovely location to walk. Shrubs, flowers and trees are superb. On a hill so ups and downs in pathways but well maintained and doable. One of my favorite sites in Eugene.

Hendricks Park in the spring, when the rhodies are blooming, is magical. Several short paths wind up and down the hillside, and the bushes are the size of trees. Amazing natural resource!
