Alton Baker Park is right across the Willamette River from the University of Oregon campus. Autzen Stadium, home of the U of O Ducks football team is also located on the edge of this park.

What I like about Alton Baker Park is that there is a varitey of "things" and places of beauty. Some of the "things" are the coveres areas, the foot bridges, the walking paths, the solar system models, bathrooms, benches, plenty of parking, wheel chair accessibility,...More

I like the Willamette a lot and its breadth and length make it great for rafting, tubing, nature viewing, etc... Fishing isn't that great here and I prefer the McKenzie for trout, especially up around Nimrod.

My sister, son and I went walking through the park. There's a nice path to walk on, it follows along the river with walking bridges that crossover the river so you can walk along both sides.
