On July 24, 2016 I visited this place with my family for the purpose of evaluating it whether it would be a suitable place for a yearly company meeting for approximately 20 people. We brought our well behaved chocolate labrador with us on a leash and we were welcomed by two large dogs of the owner running loose amongst the... More

We decided to stop in here on a wine tour because it was listed on our wine passport; the passport attractions are fairly hit or miss, but this one was a hit. a nice drive up into the hills brings you to a quaint little tasting room, where - when we visited - the owners were working the table and... Charming tasting rooms are found inside and outside of this winery that is south of Portland in the rolling hills of Cornelius. It is open year-round to the public without appointment on F-S from Noon to 6, Sunday from Noon to 5. M-T is by appointment at 503-992-1196. Holly and Jim Witte serve their award-winning wines with hospitality that wraps... More

Beautiful Vineyard & wine tasting area. Labeling of the delicious wines is very nicely done - even features pictures of their 2 dogs ( who come out to greet you when you arrive) on a couple of the wines.

We stopped by for a tasting and found the facility, wine and service to be pleasant and professional. The proof of how we liked the wine is the case that we left with. If you are in Forest Grove/Cornelius, it's a fun trip through beautiful farmland.

This was our second visit here using a Groupon for wine tasting. We spent a good couple of hours leisurely sampling and having a friendly conversation with Holly (the owner) and other customers. It is a nice "out in the country" location, but not far from town, easy to find if you follow the signs. The wines we sampled were... More

Great place ! The parking is easy and you'll be greeted by either Gemini and/or Trouble, their lovable "wine dogs".Both are great and well behaved.Trouble is funny as he makes sure you know where to go he is the personal tour guide haha. Walk around back and you'll have great conversation (with humans) and great wine sampling, I don't recall... More

I was on a a short wine tour with my folks who were visiting from out of town when we stopped in to this winery. After being greeted by a vague sense of dilapidation and a geriatric pit bull and yellow lab we found the owner (?) in the back near the tasting room which he then unlocked for us.... More

A Blooming Hill is an absolutely wonderful winery midway between Portland and Forest Grove. Jim and Holly, the owners and winemakers, have a little paradise. They have a really nice Pinot Noir, grown on the grapes on the property. My favorite wine there right now is the "dry" blush. While this is not my normal taste, their blush is fantastic.... More
