My kids and I enjoyed the panoramic view from Crown Point off the Historic Columbia River Highway just outside of nearby Portland, Oregon. It was the perfect end of a day visiting the waterfalls along the way. With a stunning display of colors, the drive up the single-land highway was well worth the time. If you look East, the majestic... More

....if you traverse the Lewis and Clark trail from east to west and see all the waterfalls up close and personal, the lookout at Crown Point comes in handy to dry you off. Literally went from soaked through to dry in about 5-7 minutes up here. Great area, all the way from the Dalles down to Portland. Must see when... More

Amazing view. A must see. Can get windy at times, but well worth the visit. Lookout over the Columbia Gorge that has been around since 1918.

I have been going to the Vista House at Crown Point in Corbett, Or since the 1960's. I never tire of stopping by. The view is to die for. It is on a point/cliff overlooking the Columbia River at the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge. It is where I took my wife to propose to her. It always brings... More

Well worth stopping, even though there are so many great places along old Highway 30 to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Every time we pulled over and got out of the car along this scenic highway, we found another gorgeous spot. This certainly is included as a must see photo opportunity and worth taking the time to enjoy it!

I go here at least once a year and it is always a great place to stop and take in the Awesome panoramic view of the Columbia River Gorge. On a clear day you can see the majestic beauty from this spot 730 feet above the Columbia River. On hot summer weekend days many people could be heading toward the... More

I can't believe anyone rated this as average. It's one of the most spectacular views on Earth on a clear, sunny day. This view of the Columbia River Gorge here is not to be missed. Wikipedia the river and give yourself a few ah-ha moments while you take in all its fabulous splendor. She certainly is a giver and a... More

We've been here many times and it's always beautiful. Be sure to take the old scenic highway and stop at the waterfalls along the way. So beautiful! It can get windy so always be prepared.

Great view of the majestic Columbia River and Gorge! If you have never seen it you've missed out as you might travel to see Multnohmah Falls.
