This was the first visit for me when it was not very windy. Usually it is very windy. At vista house actually went upstairs to the balcony which due to winds isn't always open. Or that's my guess. Enjoyed looking at the timelines they have downstairs and enjoyed the gift shop. It is a must see stop when we have... More

We stopped here to take in the view and were not disappointed. The parking lot was nearly full but it didn't feel crowded in the building or outside for photo taking. This is a recommended stop if you're passing through the gorge.

Take Old Historic Columbia River Highway, past Corbett to Vista House, for a view of the Columbia River Gorge that just begs for a wide-angle-lens photo. It's never boring. From the strong winds of a winter day to the soft breezes and stunning sunsets of summer visits, there is always another view to marvel over. A visit to the museum... More

One of the greatest vantage points of the river. We were there on a clear day and the view of river through the valley was breathtaking. The Vista House was nice also. You could go up the stairs to the outside deck which offers a 360 degree view from up there.

We stopped here on our way to the waterfalls. The view all around was fantastic, nice bathrooms downstairs, a gift shop, and personable employees.

It was congested on a busy sunny day but we lucked out on parking. Excellent views up and down the gorge\valley. Well worth stopping.

Stopped at Vista House for views of the Columbia River Valley. This building is beautiful, hiway 30 is an enjoyable ride, and this is a great place to get photos as it overlooks the Columbia River valley.
