We stopped at the Vista House at Crown Point for pictures with the fantastic vistas of the Columbia River Valley on our way to Multnomah Falls

The absolute best views of the Columbia River Gorge. Offers the history of Vista House, a small coffee bar, souvenir shop and restrooms. Worth the drive

The building itself (I think built in the 1910's) is very interesting and the views from outside are worth the drive up. Its free so why not?! Parking is limited but it doesn't require a long stay and the inflow and outflow of cars is...More

Beautiful views and helpful staff. Includes a cafe a shop and a mini museum where you learn some history about the area, which is really nice. Plenty of parking too.

The observatory building is a striking historic place. There's no entry fee but you can give a donation. The views are great from Vista House but even better from the women's forum lookout at Chanticleer point, just up the road.

This place had good views of the Columbia River Gorge but the Women's Forum is much better and not as crowded. Just not as nice of the view of the Gorge, but still nice.

Crowded, tight parking lots of people. Recommend the Womens Forum Viewpoint offers better views with easy & ample parking.

The building and views are amazing! There is binoculars/telescopes that you can use, but they are too tall for children or shorter people. There is a gift shop downstairs that is very crowded, but has some beautiful items for sale in it. I would love...More

This is not a road to be afraid of. It curves gently as it elevates. Go slowly and enjoy the view.
